Pool Cleaning & Maintenance

We provide monthly pool maintenance to ensure your pool is taken care of year around. We clean and maintain both chlorine and salt water pools. Here is what goes into our monthly cleaning and maintenance:

  • Skim the surface: Use a skimmer net to remove leaves, debris, and other floating objects from the surface of the water.

  • Brush the walls and floor: Use a pool brush to scrub the walls and floor of the pool. Pay special attention to areas with algae growth or other buildup.

  • Vacuum the pool: Use a pool vacuum to remove any remaining debris and dirt from the bottom of the pool.

  • Check and clean the skimmer baskets and pump strainer: Remove any debris from the skimmer baskets and pump strainer to ensure proper water flow and circulation.

  • Test the water chemistry: Use a pool water test kit to check the pH, chlorine level, alkalinity, and calcium hardness of the water. Adjust the chemicals as needed to maintain proper levels (Salt water pools still need to have their water chemistry balanced regularly, just like traditional chlorine pools).

  • Shock the pool: Periodically shock the pool by adding a high dose of chlorine to kill any bacteria or algae that may be present.

  • Backwash the filter: If you have a sand or DE filter, backwash it to remove any trapped debris.

  • Maintain the water level: Make sure the water level is at the proper level to prevent damage to the pool equipment.

It's important to clean your pool regularly to keep the water safe and clear. The frequency of cleaning may depend on various factors like pool usage, weather, and the amount of debris in your pool. A general rule of thumb is to clean your pool at least once a week, but you may need to do it more frequently during peak swimming season or after a heavy storm. That’s where come in.

Note: We do offer one-time cleanings and individual services, but we’re focused on long-term clients and individual cleanings will incur a individual surcharge.
